ABINGTON, Pa. — It’s never been easier for prospective students to explore Penn State Abington after the release of the suburban Philadelphia campus’ new YouVisit virtual tour. Visitors can immerse themselves in the Abington community through this engaging, self-paced experience, which takes them into high-tech spaces, the modern Lions Gate student apartment community, and everywhere in between.
This tool supplements existing in-person visit options and virtual sessions with 360-degree views, and a “tour guide” who highlights essential information at each stop where users may view additional images.
"We are excited to provide a glimpse into life at Abington by showcasing our classrooms and amenities, but the virtual tour is also a key component in our mission to expand access and amplify our impact,” said Abington Chancellor Gary Liguori. "In addition to attracting prospective students, it will support high school counselors, faculty and staff recruitment, and collaboration with stakeholders such as alumni and community and corporate partners.”
The tour is accessible for users needing extra features, and it also is available in Mandarin and Spanish.
In 2026, the virtual tour will be updated to include the new academic building, which is being built on the southwest end of the campus — scroll down to see the time lapse of the construction. The three-story building will house 17 classrooms, four labs, spaces for art studios and student support, and faculty offices. It will open to students for the fall 2026 semester.
